Vote NO for 2008

okay, so it's been a long time since a post, mostly cause I'm not too big about Xanga. never really was.

I want to publicly acknowledge 2 things. One I can't spell the greatest so expect a lot of errors in this post.

Second, I'm deciding to vote No in this coming election. What does that mean?

About a year or so ago I supported a man that was running for president of the United States. Since then I have changed spirit about that decision. Is it because of rumorous emails and weblogs of him being a Muslim and anti-American? Or some other stereo-typical reasoning?

No.

It's because of a bi-fold enlightening. First from God then from logic. Isn't amazing how God gets us back on track?  But then he leaves it up to us to stay on that track. God gave me a feeling that I should no longer support or suggest anyone else to support him. So I stopped. But the thought didn't stop there.

I later found out that he was a man of empty words and false principles. He promises Change but never explains what that change might entail. He promotes a universal health plan and a quick exit strategy of the Iraq issue. But the issues he doesn't mention is the aftershock/ after effects.

Universal healthcare results in absolute government control. This country is founded on the sole understanding that government control leads to slavery. But not of a race or according to wealth but slavery of humanity. A foretold slavery that is a story that is concluded but isn't spelled out for all to read with their eyes closed. They will need your income level, your address, health records. They will want more and more and never stop till they have complete control. Promising security in trade for soul. It sounds kind of fanatcal but if you step back and look at the whole painting you'll see it is a museum. What may start as golden healthcare for everyone will result in the prophetic mark that labels its prey.

There has been a holy war for thousands of years. Not decades. The war started out as a simple mistake... a sin that wasn't thought out completely. Much time past and the sin grew, matured.

Flash-forward to present day: United States is proclaiming War in Iraq. News Flash! Their has been a war in Iraq since Iraq. United States has just publicly claimed a position in that war. It says it has choosen a side but that will be revealed in due time. I'm not to reveal it nor am I to make that judgement on it.

My role and yours? Those who have ears let them hear, those who have eyes let them see.

We are called to live a life of higher understanding. A life of different goals and different perspectives. We are called to see the world through Christ's eyes. Not our own.

(Because it's 0121 Hours, this will be part 1 of hopefully 2. I didn't really address much of the title... Until then good day.)

Greetings everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. I'm not real keen on the whole Xanga thing.

I'm going on my 4th month at the prison. It's nice but i don't want to spend 20 years doing it.

I'm hoping to go back to school for social work. I'm not sure where I'm going to go yet. But I'm not going to do it online. Nothing against online courses, I just don't want to do that.

I'm living alone now, and that bring all new challenges back into my life that I had forgotten about. But all is good. I do plan on coming down to Pearce soon. To see how everyone is doing and to check on my bike.

I'm not really good at writing down stories like all you women are so this is it. I hope everything is going well with everyone. Feel free to write me. Oh, and I have an address for friends and family now thats not Mrdavidstanforth@yahoo.com. so if you write to that, I'll get it but I may be a long while off till you see a response. So if you do want to write: david.stanforth@yahoo.com  I try to keep my addys simple.

Funny face me

I passed all my physical requirements. I've passed all my test and now I have 3 weeks left. next week I will be at the range all week. and friday I will get teargassed. fun stuff. Everything is going well on that part of life.

I am looking at an apartment at the Springs off of 5th St or Ave. I don't know... And I need to get a car so i've been seeking financial help from dealerships and the such so we will see how thatr will play out. And I might not work at Tucson State Prison I might work at Pinal County Jail. But I will still live in Tucson. I will update everyone if it actually happens.

I hope everyone is doing well and don't be a stranger.

"A Sad Time for Our Country."

I keep on hearing this or something like this in the news or on blogs and I have a note to say about it.

I am not for the "War on Terror" mainly because it's a lame label to put on fight towards decent government in our neighboring countries. The "War on Terror" has practically been around for much longer than George W., much longer than George Washington, and much longer than the conceived thought of a New World across the sea. The fact of the matter is our current President may or may not have had us invade Irag and other nations but he did. And I believe he did not with his own selfish interest or pride, but with the United States of America in mind and its' well being.

We call this a sad time for our country because of embarassment or disgrace of political stand points and lost lives of soldiers.

Why not this is a sad time for out country because poverty is spread out so much and growing that a decent family with good values and character are decaying away because they can't financially support the ones the love. They can't support them because companies across the nations are moving their structures and laboring to foreign countries for tax breaks and labor costs, and depriving U.S. citizens of their lives.

What about those who have cancer, diabetes, blood disorders, and diseases that may have no cure but that need attention to better their lives. If those patients can afford their medications they can't afford decent living conditions, auto updates (mechanical problems, gas, oil changes).

Soldiers lose their lives. That is the risk of the business. A sheriff's deputy lost his life this past week in Ohio fighting a local, in our very own nation. His family gets a proper funeral and local news might cover the story but who really hears about it. How many peace officers do you think die a year in the course of their duty? A lot more than you'd imagine. By peace officer I mean fire fighter, police, sherrif, park ranger, state trooper, EMT, or security officer. They may make local news but the nation doesn't make much not if it because its sad but it happens. That's the job they choose and it happens. Right?

If I'm wrong let me know.

I don't think this is a sad time for our nation because we are fighting for a stable gavernment. As for our portion of the "War on Terror" shouldn't we always befighting terror one way or another? Shouldn't we be struggling for all its worth just to attempt at tasting what peace is made of?

Being a Christian I know their won't be peace till Christ returns but should we just let the world go to Hell in the mean time? I don't believe anyone in their right mind would say yes to that.

I have to go. The library is closing.
